What you are buying
Each field guide is a digital PDF file. Buying one gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to download it, read it on your own devices, print it for your own use, and keep it.
The licence does not let you resell, share, publish or host the file, or use it to train or build an artificial intelligence model. Quoting a short passage with credit to The Lore Library is fine.
The texts we quote
The ancient texts quoted in the guides come from translations that are in the public domain, and every quotation names its source. Our own writing, notes, diagrams and page design are protected by copyright.
Delivery
Your download links appear on the order confirmation page and in your confirmation email as soon as payment clears. If you have an account, your files are also listed under Downloads. There is no download limit and the links do not expire.
Prices and tax
Prices are in US dollars. No tax is added at checkout. If a price is listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
Where we sell
At the moment we cannot accept orders from buyers in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Monaco or the Isle of Man.
Refunds
Digital guides can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. The refund policy explains how.
Accuracy
The guides deal with ancient texts whose meaning is debated. We quote sources carefully and label interpretation where it appears, but the guides are reference works. They are not religious, legal, medical or financial advice.
Updates to guides
When we correct or improve a guide, the new version is available at your existing download link at no extra cost.
Our liability
If something goes wrong with an order, the most we are responsible for is the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. This does not remove any mandatory protection you have under the law of your own country.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published here on the day you placed it.
