What we collect
- When you buy: your name, email address, billing address and country, and the details of your order.
- Payment details are handled directly by the payment provider. Card numbers never reach our servers.
- If you create an account: your login details and order history.
- If you email us: your message and your email address.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser details in server logs, which are used for security.
Why we use it
- To deliver your order and give you access to your downloads. The legal basis is performing our contract with you.
- To keep the records that tax and accounting law requires. The legal basis is our legal obligation.
- To protect the shop against fraud and abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure service.
- To send one email, about a week after your order, asking what you thought of a guide. The legal basis is our legitimate interest. Reply to that email if you do not want another.
We do not send marketing email unless you have agreed to receive it.
Who else processes it
- IONOS, which hosts the shop on servers in the United States.
- Our payment provider, which processes your payment.
- An email delivery provider, which sends order and download emails.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and the shop runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
Where your information is processed
The shop is run from India and hosted in the United States, so your information is stored and processed in those countries.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Account details are deleted when you ask, unless they are part of an order record we still have to keep. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.
Cookies
The shop only uses cookies it needs in order to work:

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or receive a copy. You can also object to how we use it. Email support@lorelibrarymyth.com and we will reply within 30 days.
California residents
We collect the categories of information listed above for the purposes listed above. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. You have the right to know, delete and correct your information, and we will not treat you differently for using those rights.
Children
The shop is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with its date.
