Sheol, Hades, Gehenna and Tartarus do not mean the same thing, yet an English reader of the King James Bible sees the same word for all of them. This guide gives each word its own chapter, then turns to the underworld of 1 Enoch and to the Abyss and the lake of fire in Revelation.
The verses were found by script, from a King James text tagged with Strong's numbers, and checked against the Hebrew and the Greek. The concordance at the back lists every one, with the original word and the English the translators chose.
